Karamoja Solar Company Limited is the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) established to develop the proposed Moroto Solar Photovoltaic Plant with Battery Energy Storage System in Moroto District, Uganda.
The company is progressing the project through detailed feasibility studies, environmental and social assessments, regulatory engagement, grid integration studies, licensing preparation, and investment readiness activities.
Our objective is to develop a renewable energy facility that combines solar generation with battery storage to deliver a more controllable, flexible, and grid-supportive energy solution than solar-only generation.
